Prior to the Browns’ Saturday Wild Card game against the Texans, the team revealed the status of multiple players.
Due to a knee issue, cornerback Denzel Ward is now listed as questionable for Saturday’s playoff game. Ward hurt his knee during practice on Thursday, HC Kevin Stefanski said.
“Something with his knee, he was limited,” Stefanski explained. “After that, I really don’t have any updates.”
CB Prior to the opening round of the playoffs, Mike Ford Jr. (calf), RB Pierre Strong Jr. (back), and S Juan Thornhill (calf) are also doubtful. Strong was hurt during the fourth quarter of the Browns’ Week 18 game against the Bengals and did not play again. He was limited on Wednesday and did not take part in practice on Tuesday.
“He fights like an idiot,” Stefanski remarked. “He looked good, considering he’s a very tough kid.”
