Former Stanford Cardinals defensive lineman Jaxson Moi has committed to the Tennessee Volunteers.
On Sunday mornings, Tennessee continues to receive important updates from the transfer site. They chose to double dip after landing Zalance Heard, an offensive tackle for the LSU Tigers, out of the portal. Shortly after Heard, Stanford defensive lineman Jaxson Moi committed to the Vols. Moi just returned from a trip to Knoxville, Tennessee, this past weekend, and it appears everything went smoothly.
Moi still has two seasons left to be eligible. This season, he made appearances in all twelve Stanford games and recorded 22 tackles, including 4.5 for loss. In the 2022 recruiting class, Moi was ranked No. 541 by 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.
The offseason is underway for Tennessee football. The Vols have concluded the season and are now focusing on roster construction for the 2023 season. Volunteer Country has fans covered with all the latest portal entries and NFL Draft declarations. The portal window is from December 4 until January 2. If players don’t transfer within that window, they must wait until May following spring practice to enter the transfer portal.
