Celtics’ president Brad Stevens and head coach Joe Mazzulla both have rooting interest in the high school postseason as Stevens’ daughter, Kinsley, plays for the Wellesley girls soccer team and Mazzulla’s son, Michael Harden, plays for the Xaverian football team.

As reported on X by Brendan Connelly of the Boston Herald and WATD, Stevens attended Wellesley’s 2-1 overtime win over No. 3 Brookline in the Division 1 Final Four at Weymouth High on Wednesday.

“There’s nothing like high school football,” Mazzulla said to hosts Marc Bertrand and Scott Zolak in an interview on 98.5 The Sports Hub. “It comes down to situations, nothing more important.”
