The LSU football staff is still touring the nation in an effort to put together a class that will transform the program in 2025.
With the Bayou Bengals hoping to inflict more damage on the recruiting road, Brian Kelly and company have put together a unique bunch led by five-stars Bryce Underwood, Harlem Berry, and Dakorien Moore.
The staff spoke with a few of the nation’s best wide outs this week.

Dakorien Moore: High-caliber commit to LSU
On Monday, Brian Kelly and Cortez Hankton traveled to Dallas to meet with Dakorien Moore, the nation’s top wide receiver.
The five-star recruit has been verbally committed to the Tigers since August, even in the face of current pressure from Texas.
Ron Francis, a four-star commit to LSU
Frank Wilson, the master of recruiting, paid the 4-star LSU commit a visit this week at Edna Karr, as the Tigers are still in the running for one of New Orleans’ best wide receivers.
Since the fall, Francis has been committed to the Bayou Bengals, helping the team maintain a high level of play with one of Louisiana’s best players.
Kaliq Lockett: LSU’s Four-Star Prospect
This week, Hankton and Co., one of the best wide receivers in Texas, paid Lockett a visit as the program intensified its pursuit of the 4-star prospect.
Brian Kelly accompanied Hankton on the recruiting trip to check in with the highly sought-after wide receiver, Lockett, who is still a top target for the Tigers.
CJ Wiley: LSU’s Four-Star Prospect
Wiley had an outstanding junior campaign, which propelled him up the recruiting ranks in recent months. The 6-foot-4 Georgian talent is highly sought after by the Tigers.
Joe Sloan and Cortez Hankton, the co-offensive coordinators, went to the East Coast to visit Wiley, an LSU alumnus. The Tigers were Wiley’s father’s team in the
It was another trip together for Sloan and Hankton after making their way to visit 5-star wideout Jamie Ffrench. The former Alabama commit is back on the market with LSU remaining in contact with the coveted receiver.
The Florida native reopened his recruitment and Hankton is making sure to do is due diligence for one of 2025’s finest.
