Tyreek Hill has once again continued his feud with Noah Lyles as the Miami Dolphins’ wide receive

Tyreek Hill fires back at Noah Lyles after Olympian's troll jobTyreek Hill has once again continued his feud with Noah Lyles as the Miami Dolphins’ wide receiver hints the American sprinter isn’t the world’s fastest man, despite him claiming the gold medal at the 2024 Olympic Games.

The 27-year-old, who previously attracted criticism for calling out the USA’s self-centered approach to global sports, managed to claim the top spot in the 100m sprint in Paris over the summer. He later secured bronze in the 200m, despite battling Covid-19 and needing oxygen.

For most people, that’s enough of a definitive statement to accept the man from Gainesville is the fastest person on the planet but apparently not to Hill, as he took to social media to seemingly disagree.

“Who gave you that title? Your Wikipedia page,” Hill posted to X.com, formerly Twitter, after Lyles declared himself the world’s fastest man on Elon Musk’s social media website on Sunday, February 2.

The pair have had a long standing dispute over which one of them is actually quicker as the NFL star, famed for his speed, insists he is capable of out-running the professional sprinter who has trained his discipline for well over a decade.

No race has yet happened between them and Hill, interestingly, elected not to race IShowSpeed; a popular YouTuber who boasts a 4.44 time in the 40-yard dash. The Dolphins’ ace, dubbed Cheetah, claimed he couldn’t race on a non-practise day due to his contract.

The response from the one-time Super Bowl champion comes after Lyles won the 60m indoor final and sent Hill a clear message of his thoughts by holding up a piece of card reading, “Tyreek could never.”

Tyreek Hill trade rumors: What’s the latest?
The 30-year-old is currently occupied with finding his way out of the Hard Rock Stadium following a challenging 2024/25 NFL season in Miami, as he struggled without the help of Tua Tagovailoa at quarterback.

“It was great playing here, but at the end of the day I got to do what’s best for my career. I’m too much of a competitor to be just out there.”

Yet so far no trade has materialized and according to ESPN, he has not actually requested a trade to the general manager, Chris Grier, meaning he is thus bound to Mike McDaniel’s team for the moment. Hill will hit free agency at the end of the 2026 NFL season.
