Marcus Freeman’s Son Hosts Rival School Coach for Home Recruiting Visit
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish failed to live up to former coach Lou Holtz’s prediction on January 20, 2025 as they fell 34-23 to the Ohio State Buckeyes in the national championship game.
The Irish’s tough loss illuminated Notre Dame’s team needs moving forward with hopes of winning their first national title since 1988 on the minds of head coach Marcus Freeman and the rest of his staff.
On Monday, February 3, the Fighting Irish faithful received a surprise as Freeman’s son Vinny posted about an in-home recruiting visit with a famous rival school that few saw coming.
