Georgia has produced NFL talent at a ridiculous clip under Kirby Smart. Some NFL coaches are jealous of his rings, while others are just thankful for all the players.
It’s difficult to watch an NFL game without seeing a Georgia player on the field. Although the Bulldogs have always served as a conduit to the NFL, Athens is producing more talent than ever before. Georgia has shattered numerous draft records under head coach Kirby Smart, and they don’t seem to be slowing down any time soon.
Gaining consecutive national titles and putting out that level of work is sure to draw some interest from professionals. During the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Kirby Smart’s work at Georgia has garnered accolades from other coaches.
In his first summer as the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons, Raheem Morris was questioned for his connection with Smart.
Morris declared, “My relationship with Kirby Smart is one of jealousy.” “Let’s go be like that man and win some titles… All they’ve done is create an excellent program. Once more, it all begins with the people. simply observing him claim victories. Seeing has been enjoyable. It’s exciting to watch Georgia produce so many talented people. I am aware that my current residence is a large Georgia contingency. I must grab my Bulldog hats and give the boys my support.
Later in the day, Zach Klein of WSB-TV questioned Philadelphia Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni on the “one DNA trait” that most characterized Georgia athletes under Kirby Smart.
“You know, toughness? Hardness,” Sirianni said. “It goes without saying that the Georgian players we have selected and playing for us are really talented. Okay, so we have Jordan Davis and Jalen Carter as two first-round picks, and Nolan Smith as another first-round pick. We selected Kelee [Ringo] in the fourth round and Nakobe [Dean] in the third. They are therefore physically fit, tough, and skilled at winning, in addition to being excellent football players.”
Opening day of the NFL Scouting Combine is Thursday, February 29.
