The Philadelphia Eagles are now making some significant personnel adjustments in addition to the significant changes they made to the coaching staff this summer.
After six years with the Eagles, veteran cornerback Avonte Maddox is being released, according to reports from ESPN’s Adam Schefter. It doesn’t seem like farewell quite yet, though.
“More roster moves: The Philadelphia Eagles are releasing CB Avonte Maddox after six seasons, per sources. He had a $9.6 million salary cap hit for 2024. The two sides will keep talking and are open to a reunion,” Schefter tweeted
