Tennessee Volunteers inside linebacker Edwin Spillman has officially enrolled at the University of Tennessee and joined practices.
Edwin Spillman, an inside linebacker for the Tennessee Volunteers, has begun practicing after formally enrolling at the University of Tennessee.
Edwin Spillman, a linebacker from Lipscomb Academy, was one of the Vols’ main targets during the 2024 signing class. Tennessee’s desire to fortify its state boundaries prompted calls from national authorities. But after completing his high school education, he signed his national letter of intent with Tennessee and is now formally enrolled on campus.
Many emphasized the significance of Tennessee and Spillman’s off-field ties. He decided on Tennessee because Spillman both as a player and a person fit the state perfectly. After watching his four years of outstanding high school footage, Tennessee has acquired a very talented player.
Tennessee made a significant upfront investment in his recruitment, and it has paid off. Spillman will arrive in Knoxville, Tennessee, having just completed a fruitful four-year tenure with the state’s best program. This SEC-caliber linebacker may see action early in his career and, based on his physical growth, may play a larger role by the 2025 campaign.
