charley hull announce unexpected announcement

Charley Hull LPGA : r/LadiesOfLPGAThis type of shot is great to use when you’re playing against a cross wind or into the wind, Braid said. It will flight lower, and therefore be less impacted by the wind. It’s also a good shot to have in your bag when you really need to hit one straight.

“A more compact swing makes for more of a “fairway finder” type shot that gives people confidence on tight fairways or a tee shot that makes you feel a little uncomfortable,” Braid explained.

If you want to work this shot into your game – and who wouldn’t? – Braid says to keep your swing compact and stay centered over the ball.

“She typically holds off her finish like this when she’s playing more of a low punch or a fade,” Braid explains. “She stays compact in her back swing and on top of the ball more in her forward swing than she does when she’s hitting her standard high ball.”

This swing is obviously shorter in the follow through, but what Braid is pointing to here is that it’s also shorter in the takeaway. Everything about this swing is a little more contained and controlled than your usual iron swing. One of the benefits of this is that without extraneous movement, you’re able to get the clubhead back to center more easily. You do, however, lose a little distance. So, club up when you’re giving this a try.

If you’re feeling a little uncomfortable with the motion, Braid says to create a feeling similar to a punch-out.

“We don’t see everyday golfers doing this shot as often, but I think they could relate to it by thinking of a little punch shot back into the fairway from the tree line,” Braid said.

Next time you’re dealing with some wind and need your ball to be able to pierce through it or absolutely need to get one in the fairway, try this shot. It might just work as well for you as it does for Hull.

Sabbath formed the year I was born, first song I learned on guitar was Sweet L3af, saw Ozzy in ‘82 just after the plane crash, countless Ozfest’s, 1998 reunion show, etc etc….. I’ve seen a lot of fans talking about what band was uninvited, or who didn’t live up to the hype, or which band shouldn’t have been there… I watched the entire show and, for me, the lifetime soundtrack was as touching and meaningful as a McCartney concert…

This just popped up as a memory from my regular page. I believe part of his payment was for the cords to hook up all his pedals. Jake said he had those all hooked up.

Ever since I first heard him on the Bark At The Moon album, I’ve been a huge fan Of Jake E. Lee. I’ve seen him play with Ozzy twice, Badlands once and his solo band 3 or 4 times and have met him twice. He is one of the nicest, humblest people you can ever be lucky to meet.

Jake, it’s so nice to see you back on a big stage. I remember when I was 14 and I tried to play your solos on the guitar and I never succeeded. Don’t isolate yourself anymore, do it for your many fans around the world.
