OKC fan here again. I wanna apologize for all of the pseudo Thunder fans posting disrespectful things on your page. I was at the game. I feel horrible for Hailburton. Hopefully he will recover fully and have a great next season. Please understand, that not all OKC fans are idiots like the ones Iโve seen posting here. And as a fanbase we are just learning how to win with class. I only joined to see the banter because Iโm a basketball nut. Most of these guys probably jumped on the bandwagon this season and have never been to a game. That said, for a team that was supposed to have no chance, you gave us all we wanted. Speaking for myself, you guys made me nervous all series. You just wouldnโt go away.๐โค๏ธ๐ฅ Iโm sure we have not heard the last of the Pacers. Great series. Nothing but, respect. Letโs do it again next year. Might try to make to Indy for a game next season. YesCer!Thunder Upโค๏ธ
Hey everyone โ OKC fan here again. I just wanted to take a moment to say something thatโs been weighing on me since the end of the series, especially after seeing some of the reactions online. First and foremost, I want to sincerely apologize for the rude and disrespectful comments being posted on your page by people claiming to be Thunder fans. Thatโs not what we’re about, and I hate seeing that kind of negativity come from our side.
I was lucky enough to be at one of the games in person, and I can tell you firsthand โ youโve got a tough, resilient team over there in Indiana. What happened with Tyrese Haliburton was heartbreaking to see, and I truly hope he makes a full recovery and comes back stronger than ever next season. He’s one of the brightest young stars in the league, and the game is better when he’s on the court.
Please know that not all Thunder fans are like the ones youโve unfortunately seen in your comments section. A lot of us have followed this team from the early days and care deeply about not just our success, but also about winning the right way โ with class, humility, and respect for our opponents. As a fanbase, weโre still learning how to handle success. For many, this is their first real taste of a deep playoff run, and unfortunately, some people donโt quite know how to carry themselves in moments like this. Some of the people posting trash online probably havenโt even watched a full season, let alone been to a game. It’s frustrating, because it reflects poorly on all of us.
I only joined the online conversation to see some fun banter because Iโm a basketball junkie โ I live for this sport, and I love seeing passionate fans going back and forth. But even healthy rivalry has a line, and I hate seeing people cross it.
With that said, I just want to give major props to your squad. For a team that the โexpertsโ said had no chance, you gave us everything we could handle โ and then some. There were moments in that series where I genuinely didnโt know if we were going to pull it out. You guys just kept fighting, every game, every quarter. You wouldnโt go away, and you earned a lot of respect from me and many others.
This series was everything basketball is supposed to be โ gritty, competitive, emotional, and unpredictable. And it was fun. Stressful as hell, but fun. ๐๐ฅ I came away from it with a whole new level of respect for the Pacers, their coaching staff, and their fans. You showed heart, toughness, and no fear of the moment.
I really believe this is just the beginning for your team. The Pacers are young, hungry, and built the right way. I wouldn’t be surprised at all if we meet again next year in another deep playoff battle. And who knows โ maybe Iโll try to make it out to Indy for a game next season. Always love checking out new arenas and fanbases.
So once again, from one real fan to another โ great series, much respect, and here’s to doing it again next year, hopefully with both teams fully healthy. Letโs keep this rivalry classy and fun. Nothing but love and competi
