BREAKING NEWS: After 17 years of a highly publicized divorce, Heather Mills has unexpectedly spoken out with a 5-word message accusing Paul McCartney of failing to complete the alimony payments as per their agreement. She claims McCartney turned his back on her and used their daughter Beatrice as an excuse. Paul McCartney’s tense response has made the situation even more complicated. Full story in the…

Seventeen years after their turbulent and widely publicized divorce, Heather Mills has reignited controversy with a blunt and unexpected five-word message: “He never finished paying me.” The startling accusation, delivered via a social media post earlier today, has once again brought the contentious split between Mills and former Beatle Paul McCartney into the public eye.

According to Mills, McCartney has failed to uphold the full terms of their 2008 divorce settlement, which was one of the most expensive in British legal history. She was awarded £24.3 million (around $48.6 million at the time), plus annual payments for the care and upbringing of their daughter, Beatrice. Mills now claims that certain financial obligations were never fully met, alleging that McCartney “turned his back” on her and used their now 21-year-old daughter as a “shield” to avoid finalizing his payments.

“He used Beatrice as an excuse to delay and avoid what was rightfully mine,” Mills wrote in a follow-up post. “This isn’t about money anymore—it’s about principle and accountability.”

McCartney’s camp has issued a terse but firm response, denying any wrongdoing. In a brief statement, the music icon said: “The settlement terms were honored in full. Any suggestion otherwise is both false and deeply disappointing.”

This new exchange has triggered a media frenzy, with many observers noting the bitterness that appears to linger nearly two decades after their divorce. At the time, the couple’s legal battle was marked by intense public scrutiny, personal accusations, and leaked court documents. Mills represented herself in court and famously poured a glass of water over McCartney’s lawyer during one hearing.

Mills, a former model and activist, had largely remained silent about McCartney in recent years, focusing instead on her business ventures and charitable work. Her sudden public message has shocked even close followers of the case, many of whom believed the conflict had long since cooled.

Legal analysts have weighed in, noting that it would be highly unusual—but not impossible—for parts of such a high-profile divorce settlement to remain unpaid after so many years. However, unless Mills provides clear legal documentation showing specific breaches of the agreement, her claims may be difficult to verify publicly.

The couple’s daughter, Beatrice, who has kept a low profile, has not made any public statements regarding the allegations. Sources close to the family say she is caught in an uncomfortable position between her parents and may seek to stay out of the escalating war of words.

For now, the public is left with more questions than answers: What triggered Mills to speak out after all this time? Is there more to come from either side? And could this dispute make its way back into court? With emotions clearly running high and reputations at stake, this long-dormant saga may not be over just yet.

Sabbath formed the year I was born, first song I learned on guitar was Sweet L3af, saw Ozzy in ‘82 just after the plane crash, countless Ozfest’s, 1998 reunion show, etc etc….. I’ve seen a lot of fans talking about what band was uninvited, or who didn’t live up to the hype, or which band shouldn’t have been there… I watched the entire show and, for me, the lifetime soundtrack was as touching and meaningful as a McCartney concert…

Ever since I first heard him on the Bark At The Moon album, I’ve been a huge fan Of Jake E. Lee. I’ve seen him play with Ozzy twice, Badlands once and his solo band 3 or 4 times and have met him twice. He is one of the nicest, humblest people you can ever be lucky to meet.
