John Force Stuns NHRA with Massive Gift — Donates SIX Custom Sports Cars to NHRA: “This Is Home, and We Ride Like Champions”

In a breathtaking act of generosity and loyalty, drag racing icon John Force has stunned the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) community by donating six custom-built sports cars to the organization, declaring his love for the sport and those who made his legendary career possible. The surprise announcement came during a special NHRA ceremony in Indianapolis, where Force referred to the gift as a symbol of gratitude and legacy.

“This is home,” the 16-time NHRA Funny Car champion said, standing beside the gleaming lineup of one-of-a-kind vehicles. “And we ride like champions — because that’s what NHRA made me, and what it continues to make every single racer out there chasing the dream.”

The custom cars, designed in collaboration with Force’s own John Force Racing team and a group of elite engineers and performance designers, are said to be inspired by the evolution of drag racing across the decades. Each car reflects a unique era — from the classic muscle of the ’70s to the cutting-edge aerodynamic builds of today — and will be used for promotional tours, youth outreach programs, fan experiences, and NHRA museum displays.

Each vehicle bears personal touches from Force himself, including his signature stitched into the leather seats, custom decals inspired by his most memorable racing moments, and even embedded messages of motivation under the hood. One model, nicknamed “The Legend,” carries a built-in sound system that plays the roar of Force’s most iconic engine starts — a nostalgic blast from his most dominant runs.

NHRA President Glen Cromwell was visibly emotional as he accepted the gift. “John Force has given more to this sport than any other driver in history — and now he’s giving us a piece of his soul. These cars aren’t just machines. They’re symbols of passion, legacy, and the relentless spirit of competition.”

Fans and fellow drivers reacted with awe and admiration on social media. Four-time Top Fuel champion Steve Torrence posted, “No one loves this sport like John Force. He’s the heart of NHRA.” Brittany Force, John’s daughter and NHRA star in her own right, shared a behind-the-scenes video of the cars arriving, captioned, “Pops never stops. He’s still making history.”

The announcement also coincides with Force’s semi-retirement from full-time racing, as he transitions more into an ambassador and mentor role within the NHRA. Though his time on the track may be winding down, his influence shows no signs of fading.

“This is about the future,” Force said. “These cars are going to show kids what’s possible. They’ll hear the engines, feel the energy, and know that the world of racing has a place for them too.”

With this powerful gesture, John Force once again proves why he’s not just a legend of the dragstrip — but a cornerstone of motorsports culture. As the engines start and the wheels turn on this new chapter, one thing is certain: John Force rides not only for wins, but for legacy.

Led Zeppelin the Best Band of all time Led#1 forever, Led Zeppelin, formed in 1968, consisted of Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, and John Bonham. After reshaping the sound of rock with their debut Led Zeppelin (1969), they followed with Led Zeppelin II (1969), III (1970), and IV (1971), which featured the immortal “Stairway to Heaven.” The band seamlessly blended blues, hard rock, and folk influences with unmatched intensity. Physical Graffiti (1975) and Presence (1976) showed their experimental range, while In Through the Out Door (1979) reflected musical evolution. Known for mystique and explosive live shows, Zeppelin avoided releasing singles, encouraging full-album experiences. The band dissolved after Bonham’s death in 1980, but their 2007 reunion at the O2 Arena proved their enduring magic. Selling over 300 million records, Led Zeppelin are Rock Hall inductees and cultural cornerstones, often cited as the greatest rock band in history.

Sabbath formed the year I was born, first song I learned on guitar was Sweet L3af, saw Ozzy in ‘82 just after the plane crash, countless Ozfest’s, 1998 reunion show, etc etc….. I’ve seen a lot of fans talking about what band was uninvited, or who didn’t live up to the hype, or which band shouldn’t have been there… I watched the entire show and, for me, the lifetime soundtrack was as touching and meaningful as a McCartney concert…

This just popped up as a memory from my regular page. I believe part of his payment was for the cords to hook up all his pedals. Jake said he had those all hooked up.

Ever since I first heard him on the Bark At The Moon album, I’ve been a huge fan Of Jake E. Lee. I’ve seen him play with Ozzy twice, Badlands once and his solo band 3 or 4 times and have met him twice. He is one of the nicest, humblest people you can ever be lucky to meet.
