Heartbreaking news: Legend Ozzy Osbourne has suffered a series of health problems . He was diagnosed with a form of Parkinson’s, and then had numerous surgeries on his neck and spine after a fall on stage yesterday night. He also suffered pneumonia, and an infection that required him to remain on antibiotics for a prolonged period.

Ozzy Osbourne has dealt with numerous health issues over the course of his career.

In February 2025, gave an update about the singer’s illness after it was announced that Ozzy would play his final show with Black Sabbath.

“He’s very happy to be coming back and very emotional about this,” Sharon told The Sun. “Parkinson’s is a progressive disease. It’s not something you can stabilize. It affects different parts of the body and it’s affected his legs. But his voice is as good as it’s ever been.

Ozzy lives with Parkinson’s disease, and has had numerous surgeries over the years.

In 2023, he underwent a fourth spinal surgery to fix the damage caused by a fall four years earlier, which dislodged the metal rods that were put into his body after an accident in 2003.

“It’s really knocked me about,” he told Rolling Stone UK at the time. “The second surgery went drastically wrong and virtually left me crippled. I thought I’d be up and running after the second and third, but with the last one they put a f–king rod in my spine. They found a tumor in one of the vertebrae, so they had to dig all that out too. It’s pretty rough, man, and my balance is all f–ked up.”

Ozzy shared his Parkinson’s disease diagnosis during an appearance on Good Morning America in January 2020.

“It’s not a death sentence but it affects certain nerves in your body,” Sharon added. “You have a good day, a good day, then a really bad day.”
