Romelu Lukaku has returned to Everton on a permanent basis from Chelsea.
The Belgium striker shared a photo of himself on his way to Merseyside today, where he has signed a five-year contract with the Toffees after both teams agreed on a cost of roughly £30 million.
Lukaku scored 21 goals in Seria A last season while on loan from Chelsea, and Sean Dyche has made no secret of his desire to re-sign the 31-year-old.
Chelsea chose to let the striker leave after signing Nicolas Jackson from Villarreal and Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig.
Lukaku pushed for the transfer, rejecting multiple Saudi offers because he still has unfinished business at the club and hopes to join after Euros 2024.
