England ace Kieran Trippier’s property has been listed for £3.8 million, according to reports today.
The Three Lions full back’s opulent six-bedroom Northumberland home has emerged in an internet listing while he is in Germany participating for England in the Euros.
The multi-million-pound house, built in 2009, features an open plan kitchen/dining area, a grand entrance foyer, a swimming pool, a formal living room with fireplace, and a reception room.
The home has automatic gates with tall sandstone pillars and is surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens in a tranquil woods setting.
According to the estate agent’s description, the house spans over 12,500 square feet across three stories and was just completely renovated in 2022.
It comes amid speculation that Trippier’s six-year marriage to wife Charlotte is ‘on the rocks’.
Charlotte opened up about her marriage to the Newcastle star on Instagram last week, just 48 hours before England’s last group game against Slovenia. In the cryptic message, Charlotte, Trippier’s mother, wrote: ‘Sooner or later you get over the s*** you vowed you’d never get over, and it’s the best feeling in the world.’
Further images in the story, with the description ‘the sun is shining, happy Monday’, show the WAG sitting in her car, listening to music while waiting to pick up her children from school.
It is thought that the two met in 2014. The English international was immediately smitten with her, and their romance would quickly progress from zero to one hundred in less than two years. He went on to propose in June 2015, and they married a year later in 2016.
The couple has three children together. Charlotte gave birth to their first child, a devoted son named Jacob, in December 2016.
They would subsequently have their second child, a daughter named Esme Rose, in February 2020, before expanding their picture-perfect family with another in 2022.
Charlotte used to manage the Instagram fashion site Style Up Sisters with her sister Rosie Wray, but the account no longer appears to be active.
The couple appeared together in a Prime Video documentary about Newcastle United, in which she spoke openly about her troubles when they relocated to Spain, where Tripper played for Atletico Madrid.
She said: ‘When we first moved to Madrid, I was on my own for long. I felt so lonely, ‘cos people don’t see that side of things.
‘About four months in, I was saying to him ‘I don’t know if I can stay here Kieran, I feel depressed. I’ve got no family over here, I’ve got no friends here.’
Last week, MailOnline reported the England full back’s six-year marriage to Charlotte was said to have been strained for ‘some time’ with the couple trying to sort out their differences prior to the Euros getting underway.
A source said: ‘It’s been known for some time that things are not good between them. They’ve had a number of issues and have been trying to resolve them but it’s proving to be quite a challenge.
‘Charlotte has stayed in England with their children during the Euros, unlike the other WAGs who have all been flying to Germany for the games. It will be interesting to see what happens between them once the Euros are over.’
