2025 RHP/1B Ethan Rose (South Fayette) Commits to East Carolina University

East Carolina University has landed a major commitment from 2025 right-handed pitcher and first baseman Ethan Rose, a standout athlete from South Fayette High School. Rose, known for his impressive dual-threat capabilities on the mound and at the plate, has chosen ECU as the next step in his athletic journey.

The commitment comes as a major win for the Pirates’ baseball program, which has been consistently ranked among the top teams in NCAA Division I. Rose’s combination of pitching prowess and offensive power has earned him recognition as one of the top prospects in the 2025 class. His ability to dominate on both sides of the ball gives him the potential to be an all-around contributor for the Pirates in the near future.

As a right-handed pitcher, Rose boasts a fastball that touches the low 90s and a sharp breaking ball, making him a force on the mound. His versatility extends to the batter’s box, where he’s shown the ability to drive the ball with power, especially from the first base position. His strong arm, quick reflexes, and ability to read the game make him a key asset for South Fayette and, soon, for ECU.

In addition to his on-field talents, Rose’s leadership and work ethic have drawn the attention of scouts and coaches alike. His commitment to ECU underscores the program’s focus on developing well-rounded athletes who excel both on and off the field. ECU’s coaching staff is excited to add a player with Rose’s versatility and potential to the roster as they continue to build on their success in college baseball.

Rose’s commitment marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for both the young athlete and ECU Baseball, setting the stage for what promises to be an exciting future ahead.

This just popped up as a memory from my regular page. I believe part of his payment was for the cords to hook up all his pedals. Jake said he had those all hooked up.

Ever since I first heard him on the Bark At The Moon album, I’ve been a huge fan Of Jake E. Lee. I’ve seen him play with Ozzy twice, Badlands once and his solo band 3 or 4 times and have met him twice. He is one of the nicest, humblest people you can ever be lucky to meet.

Jake, it’s so nice to see you back on a big stage. I remember when I was 14 and I tried to play your solos on the guitar and I never succeeded. Don’t isolate yourself anymore, do it for your many fans around the world.
