Former ASU offensive lineman Keona Peat has committed to Arizona out of the NCAA.

Former Arizona State University (ASU) offensive lineman Keona Peat has officially entered the NCAA transfer portal, with strong indications pointing toward a commitment to the University of Arizona. This potential move not only signifies a significant shift in Peat’s collegiate football journey but also underscores the deep familial and regional ties influencing his decision.

Peat, a 6-foot-2, 265-pound offensive lineman, began his collegiate career at ASU after a standout tenure at Corona del Sol High School in Tempe, Arizona. During his high school years, he earned First Team All-6A Central Region honors, showcasing his prowess on the field. Despite facing a life-threatening allergic reaction during surgery in 2021, which led to a medically induced coma, Peat demonstrated remarkable resilience by returning to play in the final games of his senior season .(thesundevils.com, Sportskeeda, Burn City Sports)

At ASU, Peat’s freshman year saw him stepping up due to injuries along the offensive line, gaining valuable experience early in his college career. However, in April 2025, he announced his decision to enter the transfer portal, expressing gratitude to the ASU coaching staff for their support and mentorship .(thesundevils.com)

The speculation surrounding Peat’s next move intensified with reports suggesting a transfer to the University of Arizona, where his younger brother, Koa Peat, a five-star basketball recruit, committed earlier in March 2025 . The Peat family’s athletic legacy is notable, with siblings excelling in various sports at collegiate and professional levels, including NFL offensive lineman Andrus Peat .(News Minimalist, Sportskeeda)

Should Keona Peat finalize his transfer to Arizona, it would not only reunite him with his brother but also bolster the Wildcats’ roster with a player possessing both talent and tenacity. His journey reflects a narrative of perseverance and the profound impact of family and community in shaping athletic careers.

Led Zeppelin the Best Band of all time Led#1 forever, Led Zeppelin, formed in 1968, consisted of Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, and John Bonham. After reshaping the sound of rock with their debut Led Zeppelin (1969), they followed with Led Zeppelin II (1969), III (1970), and IV (1971), which featured the immortal “Stairway to Heaven.” The band seamlessly blended blues, hard rock, and folk influences with unmatched intensity. Physical Graffiti (1975) and Presence (1976) showed their experimental range, while In Through the Out Door (1979) reflected musical evolution. Known for mystique and explosive live shows, Zeppelin avoided releasing singles, encouraging full-album experiences. The band dissolved after Bonham’s death in 1980, but their 2007 reunion at the O2 Arena proved their enduring magic. Selling over 300 million records, Led Zeppelin are Rock Hall inductees and cultural cornerstones, often cited as the greatest rock band in history.

Sabbath formed the year I was born, first song I learned on guitar was Sweet L3af, saw Ozzy in ‘82 just after the plane crash, countless Ozfest’s, 1998 reunion show, etc etc….. I’ve seen a lot of fans talking about what band was uninvited, or who didn’t live up to the hype, or which band shouldn’t have been there… I watched the entire show and, for me, the lifetime soundtrack was as touching and meaningful as a McCartney concert…

This just popped up as a memory from my regular page. I believe part of his payment was for the cords to hook up all his pedals. Jake said he had those all hooked up.
