Good news for Georgia bulldogs: M. Easley, OL is back
As of March 27, 2025, there is no official information indicating that Georgia Bulldogs offensive lineman Marques Easley has been reinstated to the team following his recent suspension. Easley, a freshman, was suspended indefinitely after a car accident on March 17, 2025, in Watkinsville, Georgia. His vehicle lost control, resulting in a collision involving two other cars. Easley sustained minor injuries and was transported to Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center. Subsequently, he was arrested and charged with reckless conduct and reckless driving. citeturn0search1
Georgia head coach Kirby Smart addressed the incident, expressing disappointment and emphasizing the need for continued education and discipline regarding driving behaviors among players. citeturn0search5
Given the absence of official announcements about Easley’s reinstatement, reports suggesting his return to the team remain unverified. The situation underscores the importance of responsible conduct and adherence to team policies.
