Legend Caitlin Clark break silence after inking new 12-years contract with….
Caitlin Clark has become one of the biggest names in American sport after taking the WNBA by storm in her rookie season, but will be taking a break from basketball
Caitlin Clark won’t be following in the footsteps of Angel Reese after her phenomenal rookie season in the WNBA. Clark has rapidly become one of America’s top sports stars, with her presence in the WNBA sparking interest and excitement like never before.
She concluded her remarkable debut season for the Indiana Fever by winning Rookie of the Year in a nearly unanimous vote. A national panel of sportswriters and sportscasters gave 66 out of 67 votes to Clark, with Chicago Sky forward Reese receiving the other.
Despite her efforts, Clark couldn’t lead the Fever to WNBA glory, as they were knocked out in the play-offs last month by the Connecticut Sun

Despite some of her competitors signing up for the Unrivalled League, Clark has opted out of any off-season tournaments. Reese is the most notable player on the roster, with Brittney Griner also participating, but Clark has chosen not to join in.
ESPN commentator Ryan Ruocco confirmed this after speaking with Clark before the Fever’s play-off exit: “We talked to Caitlin Clark earlier today,” he revealed. “She said she almost definitely will not play basketball this offseason. So it is likely we will not see her play again until April.”
With the new WNBA season expected to kick off in May, Clark is set to start training with the Fever in April.
