Megadeth Shocks the World with New Album and Tour Dates – The Return of Rock Legends
Thrash metal titans Megadeth are poised to reignite the global stage with a highly anticipated new album set for release in 2025, accompanied by an expansive world tour that promises to electrify fans across continents. The upcoming album signifies a new chapter for Megadeth, introducing Finnish guitarist Teemu Mäntysaari as a full-time member. Mäntysaari stepped in during the 2023 tour when longtime guitarist Kiko Loureiro took a temporary leave to focus on his family. In a December 2023 interview, Mustaine revealed his ambition to release at least three more studio albums, with the first slated for 2025. He stated, “If it takes two years between an album — let’s just say it does, if I’m able to put them out fast — it’ll probably be three years, but let’s just say it’s two years. Megadeth’s 2025 tour schedule is equally ambitious. Following their 2024 European “Bleed Out Tour,” the band is set to headline major festivals and venues worldwide. Highlights include performances at Knotfest Australia in Melbourne (February 28), Sweden Rock Festival (June 4), Download Festival in England (June 13), Hellfest in France (June 20), Wacken Open Air in Germany (July 30–August 2), and Leyendas del Rock in Spain (August 8) .(Wikipedia)
While specific dates for African performances have yet to be announced, fans in Nigeria and across the continent remain hopeful for the band’s return to the region. Given Megadeth’s history of global tours, it’s anticipated that additional dates may be added to accommodate their widespread fanbase.

Ok I know a lot of people on here don’t like jake E I didn’t at first until I first saw them open for Metallica in 2022. I have liked them since then and they put in a good show. Also they have new music out, just saying
Sabbath formed the year I was born, first song I learned on guitar was Sweet L3af, saw Ozzy in ‘82 just after the plane crash, countless Ozfest’s, 1998 reunion show, etc etc….. I’ve seen a lot of fans talking about what band was uninvited, or who didn’t live up to the hype, or which band shouldn’t have been there… I watched the entire show and, for me, the lifetime soundtrack was as touching and meaningful as a McCartney concert…
This just popped up as a memory from my regular page. I believe part of his payment was for the cords to hook up all his pedals. Jake said he had those all hooked up.

Ever since I first heard him on the Bark At The Moon album, I’ve been a huge fan Of Jake E. Lee. I’ve seen him play with Ozzy twice, Badlands once and his solo band 3 or 4 times and have met him twice. He is one of the nicest, humblest people you can ever be lucky to meet.

Jake, it’s so nice to see you back on a big stage. I remember when I was 14 and I tried to play your solos on the guitar and I never succeeded. Don’t isolate yourself anymore, do it for your many fans around the world.
