The Philadelphia 76ers will play the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night in an attempt to end their current two-game losing streak.
Despite leading for the first three quarters of the game, the Sixers suffered their most recent defeat on Monday against the Dallas Mavericks.
With a combined score of 43 points, Tyrese Maxey, Tobias Harris, and Kelly Oubre Jr. helped Philadelphia maintain a tie with Dallas despite the absence of reigning MVP Joel Embiid, who is expected to be out for some time.
However, Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving would come out on top as they scored 42 points apiece to help the Mavericks win by 16 points.
The previously mentioned Maxey discovered his name on the Sixers’ injury report on Wednesday morning as a result of a sickness, earning a dubious status as a result.
But based on his availability for Wednesday night’s game against the Warriors, it looks like Maxey is well enough to play.
Danuel House Jr., who will miss the game due to right foot pain, cannot say the same.
In the game against the Mavericks, House started as a member of the starting lineup and finished with four points and five rebounds.
Marcus Morris Sr., Nicolas Batum, De’Anthony Melton, and Robert Covington are seated elsewhere on Philadelphia’s bench.
Wednesday night’s game between the Sixers and the Warriors is scheduled to tip off at 7:30 p.m. EST.
