Darrell Johnson, a linebacker for Dodge County High School, has drawn interest from a number of elite teams who frequently face off against the Tennessee Volunteers. The Georgia native has Georgia Southern, Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and UCF as finalist schools. Recent performances by the Crimson Tide have left a lasting impression, and they are rising above his new commitment date.
Johnson has designated March 20 as the commitment date. In just a few days, he will select one of those six institutions, providing them with an incredibly athletic and versatile defense. In terms of prospects in the 2025 class, Johnson is ranked No. 28 by 247Sports’ Composite Rankings. He has an 80-inch wingspan, weighs 200 pounds, and stands 6-1.In his junior year, he played a lot of defensive back and recorded 103 tackles. Johnson has a high upside right now, which is why so many head coaches are pursuing him.
