David Sanders Jr., an offensive tackle from Providence Day School, might be the top uncommitted player the Vols are currently courting. According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, he is the second-best prospect overall in the 2025 class. After putting a lot of effort into this recruiting, Tennessee is almost there.
Sanders is scheduled to make an unofficial visit to Knoxville, Tennessee in March. In addition to planning an official summer vacation to Tennessee, this will be his fourth trip to Rocky Top. The weekend of May 31 is the only official visit he has scheduled so far with the Clemson Tigers. Georgia is now leading this competition, and all three of these programs will probably be included in his list of the top six universities, which will be released tomorrow.
Lance Heard, an offensive tackle for LSU Tigers, was signed by Tennessee offensive line coach Glen Elarbee through the transfer portal during the previous cycle. It will take time to see if he can attract Sanders of this caliber, as he has demonstrated recruiting prospects of this type against other elite programs.
d his suitors include the Tennessee Volunteers.
