Multiple sources on Monday stated that the struggling Philadelphia 76ers intend to add power forward Darius Bazley to a 10-day deal.
With 18 games under his belt, 23-year-old Bazley is averaging 20.1 points, 9.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, and 2.5 blocks for the Delaware Blue Coats, Philadelphia’s G League club.
He was traded to the Memphis Grizzlies and then the Oklahoma City Thunder on the same day after the Utah Jazz picked him with the 23rd overall choice in the 2019 NBA Draft.
Over the course of four seasons, Bazley participated in 228 games (118 starts) with the Thunder (2019–23) and Phoenix Suns (2023). In a game, he averages 9.1 points and 5.3 rebounds.
The starting lineup of the 76ers is missing Joel Embiid (knee), Tobias Harris (hip), and Nicolas Batum (hamstring) due to injury.
