The Chicago Bears made their coaching staff’s 2024 roster announcement on Wednesday. Along with his entire defensive staff, head coach Matt Eberflus will return for a third season. However, with Alan Williams’ early departure early in the 2023 season, they will still require a defensive coordinator. Eberflus declared that they will completely restructure the offensive staff, keeping only tight ends coach Jim Dray and offensive line coach Chris Morgan.
In the upcoming days and weeks, Eberflus and general manager Ryan Poles will begin to fill in the holes on the coaching staff; we’ll keep tabs on all of their requests for interviews here. We’ll also keep an eye out for any further Bears-related candidates in the NFL for front-office or coaching roles.
Ian Cunningham is rumored to be the front-runner for the general manager position at the Los Angeles Chargers, and they intend to interview him.
