Gerald Mincey, a former offensive lineman for the Tennessee Vols, has moved after using the NCAA transfer portal.
Mincey declared his transfer to Kentucky on Friday night.
Mincey will be playing for this program for the third time. He attended Florida for his first year of college before moving to Tennessee.
Mincey, who spent the previous two seasons playing tackle for the Vols, will be back at Neyland Stadium when Tennessee plays Kentucky the following season. The game is scheduled for November 2.
Though there is still hope that Tennessee may sign offensive lineman Zalance Heard, a transfer from LSU, the Vols are still looking for Mincey’s successor.
