2025 three-star running back Justin Baker (Buford, Ga.) has been committed to the Tennessee Volunteers for a few months and is returning to Rocky Top.
Justin Baker, a running back from Buford High School, is one of the southeast’s most underappreciated players. He was the backup to former five-star running back Justice Haynes, who this season at Alabama had meaningful snaps as a true freshman. Despite playing in an aerial assault during his junior season, Baker continues to produce impressive results.
Early in Baker’s recruitment process, the Tennessee Volunteers focused a great deal of time and effort on him. On October 25, he made his commitment to the Vols, and he hasn’t changed it since. Baker will make another unofficial visit to Knoxville, Tennessee, this coming weekend.
Georgia, Michigan, South Carolina, and Penn State all shown interest in recruiting Baker, but he finally thought Tennessee was the greatest fit. Jerry Mack, the coach of the running backs, lands his first target of the class, capping off a stellar season both as a coach and in recruiting. Rocky Top now has a very strong running back room, and they have added even more strength.
