Along with five other finalists, Auburn football is being considered by the top-ranked ATH in the recruiting class of 2025.
An outstanding prospect in the class of 2025 narrowed down his list of possible colleges to the final six earlier this week. Cameron Sparks, the #2 prospect out of Tennessee and the top ATH in the recruiting class of 2025, can play a wide variety of positions. He ranked Michigan, Miami, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida State, and Auburn football among his top six.
Although 247 Sports lists him as a wide receiver, Ben Aigamaua, the tight ends coach, is primarily recruiting him to the Plains as a versatile, pass-catching tight end who can play comparable to Rivaldo Fairweather. He visited Auburn’s campus in January for the second time, having first gone for the football season to see Georgia play, and he relished the opportunity to get to know both Aigamaua and head coach Hugh Freeze.
Sparks visited Tennessee for a Junior Day after his January visit, and he is currently planning visits to his other top choices before deciding where to start his college career. Given that the tight end is a Chattanooga native, the Volunteers might be the Tigers’ main rivals in the recruiting process for Sparks.
According to Auburn Rivals, Sparks admires the culture Freeze is creating and the focus on faith, but he also understands that representing Auburn football entails competing against the best of the best.
Sparks declared, “The SEC is the best conference for playing.” “I could attend and take part in it. With their steadily increasing recruiting classes, Auburn is creating something truly unique.”
With eight commits so far, Auburn football’s 2025 recruiting class is rated seventh in the nation.
