It seems possible that the Red Sox will sign the former Blue Jays All-Star.
The Boston Red Sox appear to be quite active at the moment.
Several stars have already been connected to Boston this summer. This offseason, a lot of different rumors have been circulating around Boston, but the Red Sox have only shown interest in former St. Louis Cardinals outfielder Tyler O’Neill.
It wouldn’t hurt to add another right-handed bat to the middle of the lineup as the Red Sox need to bolster their starting rotation. Boston will probably need to sign a righty since two-time All-Star Justin Turner is leaving.
Teoscar Hernández, a former All-Star, was recently connected to Boston, and it appears that a trade is becoming closer. The Red Sox have even started talking to the slugger about potential contracts.
