2025 four-star defensive lineman Trent Wilson (Upper Marlboro, Md.) recently received a visit from Tennessee Volunteers senior defensive analyst Levorn Harbin.
Rodney Garner, the defensive line coach at Tennessee, is regarded as one of the best defensive assistants in college football on a national level. He searches the nation for outstanding defensive talents who can complement the defensive infrastructure the Vols are developing. Trent Wilson, a defensive lineman from Dr. Henry Wise High School who is ranked No. 110 in the 2025 cycle by 247Sports’ Composite Rankings, is one player he has his eye on.
Tennessee made Wilson an appointment with Dr. Henry Wise on Tuesday. Senior defensive analyst Levorn Harbin, dubbed “Coach Chop” by recruits, is known for this. Being one of their best recruiters, it’s noteworthy that he traveled to Maryland to view the gifted defensive lineman.
Wilson has made one unofficial visit to Knoxville, Tennessee. On April 1, 2023, he made a visit that stayed with him. Tennessee was included in Wilson’s final eight-school list that he unveiled on Tuesday. Going ahead, his priorities will be Florida, Florida State, Maryland, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, Tennessee, and Texas A&M. He gave On3’s Chad Simmons an explanation of his list, which you can read here. Look below to see what he said about Tennessee.
