Jordan Young, a student at Monroe High School, is attracting interest from numerous institutions due to his exceptional two-way athletic ability. He is the younger cousin of former Tennessee defense and outside linebacker Byron Young of the Los Angeles Rams.
“Jordan Young has scheduled official trips to Florida State from June 14–16 and Clemson from May 31–June 2. He is focusing on other people. Tennessee is a university that is strongly involved in this competition, aside from the two ACC programs. The elite safety out of Monroe, North Carolina, will also make spring visits, though the dates are still pending. Penn State is hanging out with Alabama. A decision is anticipated in the summer, and competition for the top position is still fierce going into the spring.” – Chad Simmons of On3 on Jordan Young
The 247Sports Composite Rankings have Young as the No. 58 prospect in the 2025 class. During his junior season, he recorded 66 tackles, two tackles for loss, four forced fumbles, and an interception. He now has 25 offers. Along with his impressive offensive output, Young also scored eight touchdowns and 812 yards from 34 receptions.
