2026 Darius Gray (Richmond, Va.) discussed recent recruiting news, including the Tennessee Volunteers, and possible visitation locations.
Darius Gray is an offensive tackle prospect from Richmond, Virginia’s St. Christopher’s School who could be drafted in 2026. Height has received numerous Power 5 offers and has been a rapidly rising recruit. Even before his sophomore season started on April 26, 2023, he earned an offer from Tennessee. He recently discussed his most recent recruiting updates with Volunteer Country and is currently rated as a four-star prospect.
When asked how his recruitment process has been going overall recently, the 2026 class tackle prospect said, “It’s been great; I have been invited to a few places so far for January.” Additionally, he discusses certain schools that have been advocating for him. “Schools like North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, Syracuse, and Flordia have communicated with me,” the 6’4″, 284-pound tackle said. I was also welcomed to campus by the majority of them. They’ve all given me the impression that I matter! They keep inviting me to outings and gatherings.
He continues by discussing visits specifically. “I have no plans for visits,” he states. But I’m attempting to find out if I may visit Michigan in the spring. In addition to all the Florida schools I’d like to visit in the spring, Tennessee is another school.”
Tennessee has recently become interested in his recruitment. “Our partnership is fantastic! Regarding Tennessee, I can say that both my family and I feel really at ease at the school. Lastly, he discusses his ambitions to close schools. He doesn’t have a deadline, but he does have a strategy that he might implement in the future. “There are currently no intentions to close schools. Having a cut of schools that is more in line with the junior-senior range is the ultimate objective.”
