Finally, the Tennessee Vols announced some encouraging football recruitment news to cap off the weekend.
On Sunday, Jack VanDorselaer, a four-star tight end in 2025, made his Tennessee commitment.
VanDorselaer, a 6-foot-4, 225-pound tight end from Southlake, Texas, is ranked No. 27 in the state of Texas and No. 11 in the US by 247Sports. Furthermore, he is ranked as the 2025 recruiting class’s No. 190 overall player.
The native of Texas turned down offers from a number of schools, including Alabama, Baylor, Michigan, Texas, Oregon, and USC, in favor of the Vols.
Earlier in the season, VanDorselaer paid an unofficial visit to Tennessee to see the Vols’ decisive victory over the South Carolina Gamecocks.
Five players have committed to Tennessee’s 2025 recruiting class thus far. The Vols’ best-rated 2025 commit to date is VanDorselaer.
