Georgia defensive lineman Tramel Walthour had no choice but to send out one last message to UGA supporters despite having no remaining eligibility. On Monday, he posted that on social media.

Walthour appeared in 53 career games throughout his five seasons at Athens. That comprises all 15 from the seasons that won national championships, as well as 14 from the most recent one.
Walthour made five starts for the Bulldogs in 2023, making 11 tackles, including one for loss—a sack in the SEC Championship Game. Walthour signed with the Bulldogs in the class of 2018, but he didn’t come on campus until 2019 after a year at Hutchinson (Kansas) Community College. He last recorded three tackles in a game against Ohio State in the 2022 College Football Playoff semifinal, which he tied against Ole Miss.
