2025 three-star corner Tyler Redmond (Alpharetta, Ga.) is a long-time Tennessee Volunteers commit and stopped by Rocky Top over the weekend.
Tennessee successfully organized the event, drawing a sizable number of targets and prospects, including a few pledges in 2025. Tyler Redmond, a cornerback from Milton High School, was among the Tennessee commits present.
Redmond, who is from Alpharetta, Georgia, chose Tennessee over a number of other significant suitors. Along with Dylan Lewis, a 2025 commit, he is a high school teammate. The gifted defensive back talked with Volunteer Country after his visit to share details about his journey to his future house.
“In general, I had a good visit. Every time I visit up there, I just feel happy and in love.” The gifted defensive back was asked if this visit confirmed his decision after making his opening remarks. “Yeah, of course,” was his response. Relationships with coaches are unique.”
When questioned about what, at this stage in his recruiting, made his chosen school unique to him, he responded, “Every time I go up there, there’s something new to experience and a different feeling in a good way.” They had a really unique message for the Milton High School student-athlete after speaking with the coaches. Heupel and Coach Martinez were the two individuals I spoke with. We were only catching up on things, and we got to speak about how they plan to employ me and anticipate having a playmaker after I graduate from high school.”
“Of course, Ethan Utley always is the target of Redmond’s commits, which all have a target. I like that guy.” “My pitch to Ethan is let’s become teammates again because I already played with him in Little League, so why not do it again?” he said, elaborating on their lengthy history with Volunteer Country.
