DONE DEAL: Ken Roczen Signs $245 Million Contract to Leave Suzuki for Ducati

In a groundbreaking move that has sent shockwaves through the motocross and Supercross world, Ken Roczen has officially signed a $245 million contract to leave Suzuki and join Ducati. The German rider, known for his aggressive style and championship pedigree, will spearhead Ducati’s ambitious entry into the Supercross and motocross scene.

This historic deal makes Roczen one of the highest-paid riders in the sport’s history, marking a bold statement from Ducati as it expands beyond road racing into off-road competition. Roczen’s departure from Suzuki comes after a successful stint where he re-established himself as one of the sport’s elite competitors. However, with Ducati’s increasing investment in two-wheeled motorsports, the opportunity was too significant to pass up.

“I’m incredibly excited to start this new chapter with Ducati,” Roczen said in a statement. “Their passion for racing and commitment to winning is unmatched. This is a huge move for both me and the sport, and I can’t wait to bring my experience and skill to help build Ducati’s motocross and Supercross program.”

Ducati’s entry into the dirt bike world has been rumored for years, and signing Roczen solidifies their intent to compete at the highest level. The Italian manufacturer has dominated road racing, and now, with Roczen leading their charge, they aim to disrupt the established motocross and Supercross hierarchy.

Industry insiders suggest that Ducati is developing a state-of-the-art motocross bike, leveraging its cutting-edge engineering expertise. With Roczen’s feedback, the bike is expected to be a game-changer in both AMA Supercross and Pro Motocross championships.

While Suzuki loses one of its biggest stars, Roczen’s move signals a new era for the sport. Fans can now eagerly anticipate seeing him debut in Ducati colors, potentially as early as the 2025 season. The sport’s landscape has undoubtedly shifted, and all eyes will be on Ducati’s bold new venture with Roczen at the helm.

Led Zeppelin the Best Band of all time Led#1 forever, Led Zeppelin, formed in 1968, consisted of Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, and John Bonham. After reshaping the sound of rock with their debut Led Zeppelin (1969), they followed with Led Zeppelin II (1969), III (1970), and IV (1971), which featured the immortal “Stairway to Heaven.” The band seamlessly blended blues, hard rock, and folk influences with unmatched intensity. Physical Graffiti (1975) and Presence (1976) showed their experimental range, while In Through the Out Door (1979) reflected musical evolution. Known for mystique and explosive live shows, Zeppelin avoided releasing singles, encouraging full-album experiences. The band dissolved after Bonham’s death in 1980, but their 2007 reunion at the O2 Arena proved their enduring magic. Selling over 300 million records, Led Zeppelin are Rock Hall inductees and cultural cornerstones, often cited as the greatest rock band in history.

Sabbath formed the year I was born, first song I learned on guitar was Sweet L3af, saw Ozzy in ‘82 just after the plane crash, countless Ozfest’s, 1998 reunion show, etc etc….. I’ve seen a lot of fans talking about what band was uninvited, or who didn’t live up to the hype, or which band shouldn’t have been there… I watched the entire show and, for me, the lifetime soundtrack was as touching and meaningful as a McCartney concert…
