What Penn State players could be drafted in 2025? An early look at NFL draft prospects
Penn State football just wrapped one of its most successful NFL Drafts of its Big Ten life.
It tied its largest draft class this century (2022) with eight selections, highlighted by first-round linemen Olu Fashanu and Chop Robinson.
Could the NFL haul be even greater next year — after the Top 10 preseason Nittany Lions make their 2024 run in the expanded Big Ten and College Football Playoffs?
Penn State is still looking to match and best its last great draft class, that 10-member group back in 1996.
Here’s an early look at what Lions could star in the 2025 NFL Draft:
Though a standout linebacker, this Penn State junior looks to make an even bigger impact in his new defensive line spot.
Abdul Carter seems built to rush the quarterback, first and foremost.
So an expected big 2024 season could/should drive him to the NFL. Possibly in the first-round mold of Chop Robinson, Odafe Oweh and Micah Parsons.
