e Are Honored to Show Our Love for Glenn Frey, Don Henley, and The Eagles With Our Homage of “War Pigs”
Every time we step onto a stage, whether it’s a tiny club or a stadium packed to the rafters, we carry a deep reverence for the legends who shaped the music that shaped us. Among those towering figures are Glenn Frey and Don Henley—founding members of The Eagles—whose songwriting, harmonies, and iconic sound forever changed the landscape of rock music. Their work transcends genre, generation, and geography. From “Hotel California” to “Desperado,” their songs remain etched in the hearts of fans around the globe. It’s not just music—it’s legacy, it’s storytelling, and it’s soul.
To honor that spirit, we’ve woven an homage into our own live shows—an homage that might surprise some, but feels just right to us: our rendition of “War Pigs” by Black Sabbath. It may seem like an unexpected tribute to The Eagles, but it’s rooted in something deeper than genre—it’s about rebellion, truth, and musical power. “War Pigs” is more than a metal anthem; it’s a cultural cry against injustice and the misuse of power. Much like Henley and Frey used their voices to tell stories and challenge the status quo in songs like “The Last Resort” or “Wasted Time,” “War Pigs” channels a righteous fury that continues to resonate with fans from all walks of life.
We play “War Pigs” at every show around the world—not as a gimmick, but as a statement. It’s our way of uniting audiences under the raw power of music. And each night, without fail, something incredible happens: fans sing it back to us, word for word, with intensity, passion, and total abandon. It becomes more than a cover—it becomes communion. The room transforms into a space where love for classic rock, protest music, and shared memory collide.
In those moments, we feel the spirit of rock’s greatest pioneers with us. The Eagles, with their masterful blend of lyricism and melody, taught us that music can be both beautiful and biting. Black Sabbath, through the darkness and distortion, showed us that you can scream truth through a Marshall stack. And then there’s the Prince of Darkness himself—Ozzy Osbourne—whose legacy looms large as a symbol of perseverance, defiance, and artistic authenticity.
To sing “War Pigs” night after night, while fans join in from Sydney to São Paulo, is to feel connected to all of it—the soaring harmonies of Frey and Henley, the gritty riffs of Iommi, and the raw power of Ozzy. It’s our humble way of honoring these giants and keeping their influence alive in every note we play.
So yes, we are honored—honored to carry the flame, to pay homage, and to witness the enduring power of rock music across generations. Glenn, Don, and the Eagles—thank you. Ozzy—we salute you. And to every fan who raises their voice with ours: you are part of this legacy, too.Let me know if you’d like this adapted for a press release, website bio, or social media format!
