WELCOME TO MILWAUKEE BUCKS CITY BASKETBALL: NATION’S NO. 1 PLAYER, 7-FOOT-9 PHENOM, SHOCKS COLLEGE BASKETBALL WORLD BY FLIPPING COMMITMENT TO INDIANA PACERS OVER POWERHOUSES LIKE DUKE, NC STATE, AND ALABAMA

Milwaukee has long been known as the home of the Bucks and a hub for basketball greatness, but the sport’s landscape was turned on its head this week with news that the nation’s top-ranked high school player — a towering 7-foot-9 center — has decommitted from a group of college basketball bluebloods to join an unconventional path: the Indiana Pacers’ development program.

Yes, you read that right. The Indiana Pacers — not Duke, not NC State, not Alabama — have landed the commitment of the most talked-about recruit in modern basketball history. His name is Xavier “X” McLeod, and he’s already being called a once-in-a-generation talent with a frame and skillset that defies logic. At just 18 years old, McLeod towers over his peers with a shocking blend of height, agility, and court vision, drawing comparisons to Victor Wembanyama — but even taller.

McLeod, who had been a lock to join Duke according to most recruiting insiders, made his stunning announcement via a live stream that drew over 3 million viewers. “This is about more than just basketball,” McLeod said. “I want to be part of a program that lets me grow, not just as a player, but as a person ready for the pro level from day one. The Pacers offered me a different path — one that made sense for my future.”

The Indiana Pacers have made headlines recently for launching a hybrid development initiative that blurs the lines between college ball and the NBA’s G League. Their “Pathway Program” offers elite high school players training with the Pacers’ coaching staff, education support, and guaranteed financial packages — all while preserving eligibility for the NBA draft.

For basketball traditionalists, McLeod’s move away from storied programs like Duke, NC State, and Alabama is jarring. But for a new generation of players, it may represent the evolution of the sport. Why spend one year in college — risking injury or getting lost in a crowded system — when you can train in an NBA environment, under the watchful eye of scouts, and still earn a six-figure salary?

Still, the shockwaves are real. Milwaukee, where McLeod spent much of his high school career and became a local legend, erupted in debate. “This city has always embraced bold moves,” said Coach Marcus Ellis of Milwaukee City Elite. “We taught Xavier to think big. He did.”

College coaches have expressed frustration, with one anonymous ACC assistant calling the flip “a gut punch to the entire recruiting model.” Meanwhile, the Pacers are celebrating what they believe could be the start of a new trend — and potentially the signing of a future NBA MVP.

Whether McLeod’s decision is a one-off or the beginning of a basketball revolution remains to be seen. But one thing is certain: Milwaukee, the hometown of NBA champions and now a pipeline to basketball’s new frontier, just added

Led Zeppelin the Best Band of all time Led#1 forever, Led Zeppelin, formed in 1968, consisted of Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, John Paul Jones, and John Bonham. After reshaping the sound of rock with their debut Led Zeppelin (1969), they followed with Led Zeppelin II (1969), III (1970), and IV (1971), which featured the immortal “Stairway to Heaven.” The band seamlessly blended blues, hard rock, and folk influences with unmatched intensity. Physical Graffiti (1975) and Presence (1976) showed their experimental range, while In Through the Out Door (1979) reflected musical evolution. Known for mystique and explosive live shows, Zeppelin avoided releasing singles, encouraging full-album experiences. The band dissolved after Bonham’s death in 1980, but their 2007 reunion at the O2 Arena proved their enduring magic. Selling over 300 million records, Led Zeppelin are Rock Hall inductees and cultural cornerstones, often cited as the greatest rock band in history.

Sabbath formed the year I was born, first song I learned on guitar was Sweet L3af, saw Ozzy in ‘82 just after the plane crash, countless Ozfest’s, 1998 reunion show, etc etc….. I’ve seen a lot of fans talking about what band was uninvited, or who didn’t live up to the hype, or which band shouldn’t have been there… I watched the entire show and, for me, the lifetime soundtrack was as touching and meaningful as a McCartney concert…

This just popped up as a memory from my regular page. I believe part of his payment was for the cords to hook up all his pedals. Jake said he had those all hooked up.

Ever since I first heard him on the Bark At The Moon album, I’ve been a huge fan Of Jake E. Lee. I’ve seen him play with Ozzy twice, Badlands once and his solo band 3 or 4 times and have met him twice. He is one of the nicest, humblest people you can ever be lucky to meet.
