The documentary, which promises to be a deep dive into the team’s unforgettable run to the national title, will be available for streaming starting this summer.

This groundbreaking film offers a unique perspective, not only focusing on the athleticism and strategy behind the team’s success but also spotlighting the integral role of the Texas Tech Raider Band, blending the athletic and musical worlds to showcase the spirit of the university. The 2024 season marked a turning point for the Raiders, with an underdog team pushing through adversity to claim the championship in dramatic fashion. After a series of tight wins and nail-biting finishes, the Raiders’ victory became one of the most celebrated in the history of college football, cementing the team as a new powerhouse in the sport. But what set this championship run apart was not just the athleticism on the field—it was the cohesion between the players, coaches, and the band, whose performances during key moments amplified the emotional intensity of each game.

The documentary will take viewers behind the scenes, offering exclusive access to the locker room, the field, and the stands, where the band’s stirring music lifted the spirits of players and fans alike. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Alex Martin, The Heart of the Raiders is expected to deliver compelling interviews with players, coaches, band members, and alumni.
