Check Out Ringo Starr Mingling with Eric Clapton, Jimmy Page, & More Stars at London Listening Event for His New Album, ‘Look Up’

Ringo Starr took part in a special London listening event and Q&A on Tuesday, December 10, to promote his upcoming country album, Look Up, which was attended by a jaw-dropping list of other famous rockers. According to various social media posts, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page, Pink Floyd’s David Gilmour, and The Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood were among the luminaries at the event, which took place at the Third Man Records store in London.

As part of the intimate event, the ex-Beatles drummer was interviewed by BBC presenter and former Squeeze keyboardist Jools Holland. Look Up producer T Bone Burnett also participated in the Q&A via a video feed. Other celebrities in attendance included Bob Geldof, Melanie C of the Spice Girls, and Beatles producer Giles Martin.

Starr posted a video montage from the gathering on his Instagram page. The clip was accompanied by a note that reads, “Wow, what a great time I had in London hanging out with all friends promoting my new country album Look Up peace and love Ringo.”

Third Man Records, meanwhile, posted a series of photos from the evening on its Instagram, along with the following message: “Last night [Third Man London] threw a bash for [Ringo Starr] and his nearest and dearest, in celebration of his incredible upcoming album Look Up. It featured a Q+A with the album’s producer [T Bone Burnett], hosted by [Jools Holland], and great vibes from legends such as [Ronnie Wood], [David Gilmour], [Melanie C], [Jimmy Page], [Eric Clapton] and Bob Geldof. … Huge thanks to all who came down!
